What would your parents do...

1. What would your family do if you told them you were doing drugs?
I'm actually not sure of this one. I think it would depend on what exactly I was doing and whether or not I wanted to quit. The reaction would be pretty volatile though, and I doubt I'd get any trust back for a very long time.

2. If you told them you were going to marry some one of another race?
This wouldn't be a big deal at all. My dad makes slightly offensive jokes on occassion, but nothing too bad or intentionally racist.

3. What would they do if you told them you were gay?
I doubt there would be any problem. They'd certainly be surprised, but nothing past that.

4. That you decided not to go to college, even though you have the grades and money to go?
Ha, for that my dad would completely cut me off financially and possibly disown me for a few years. He always says that the most important thing is for us to live so that we're happy with ourselves, but there's no way he'd stand for quitting/not going to college.

5. That you were going to change your religion to one your family has never followed?
It wouldn't really matter unless I went off and joined a cult. I was raised as a Catholic, but I haven't been to a service in around 12-13 years now. Doesn't mean I don't still follow a lot of the teachings, but I'm not necessarily a Catholic either.

6. What would your family do if you said you had killed a person and needed help hiding from the police?
I'm sure they'd turn me in, or at least only let me stay with them for a day or so before talking me into turning myself in. Not that I'd need much convincing anyway.
