Britney Spears loses custody of chidren

People do care... too much. She's just one woman. People care because she's famous, yes, but also because it's such a great (awful) story. Here's this cute little girl that started out entertaining kids, turned into a teenager popular with teenagers, and somehow turned into a wretched woman despite her earliest image of a clean, decent sort of girl. It's like watching a slow train wreck... and pop culture lives off of that sort of stuff. At this point I think nothing would make the magazine editors' day more than if she went out and killed herself.

But yeah.... the world goes on.
