I work 12 to 16 hours a week as a landscaper/chemical applicator, and take 16-20 credit hours as an engineering student. It has been three long years of getting about five hours of sleep a night, if any, but I've only got one year left.
For a semester last year I was taking 18 credits and working 20 hours a week, and those credits were all math/engineering. It was horrible, I was sick much of the time from not sleeping at all and pretty much hated life. It was totally not worth it. I for one am looking forward to being done and having a job that ends at 5:00. Or 8:00. Just so long as it ends at some point and lets me go home to rest. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
