If we were going by sheer time spent playing a game, I'd have say (sadly) World of Warcraft.
However, because it was the first game that I ever played in multiplayer exclusively (on my 33.3k modem), I'd have to pick Starseige TRIBES. I was too young to really appreciate the team cooperation it required, but I did get a kick out of the thousands of modded weapons that people came up with. Other Honorables: Diablo 2 Tac Ops FF7 (PC version) Halo CE Ooooh I almost forgot Total Annihilation! Jam it back in, in the dark. |
