Hey everyone. I'm Scafl and I'm new to Gamingforce. I've come across this thread several times like Shinoto/Jin, looking for chars on Google and such. I've run into problems with M.U.G.E.N, and it looks like you guys can tolerate newbies as long as they aren't "ZOMG GIV MEH WARUSAKI CHARZ PLZ EVN DO I WIL DLT DEM IN 2 OWERZ!!!1!11!1!!onetwobucklemyshoe!!1!" psychotic leechers, which I've run into on more than one occasion in other forums.

Now, can anyone help me out with this? I’m trying to change X8 Mega Man X’s character portrait (Awesome character by the way! Thanks for providing an download for him, Lazyguy!) so that it doesn’t, y’know, suck. Anyone care to shed light on how to do that? I’m still fairly new to M.U.G.E.N, so I wouldn’t know how to do this on my own. I would really appreciate it if any of you helped me out with it, as I could edit other character portraits as well, for whatever reason.

Also, I’m having a problem with the M.U.G.E.N program itself. When you first start a match, a bunch of system statistics pop up in the bottom left corner of the screen, and it gets in the way of the action. How can you turn this off? Thanks to anyone who helps.

That's not uncommon. I remember seeing several versions of the same DBZ Tenkaichi Budokai stage on Mugen Fury, with day and night coloration. You might just have to open up something like GraphicsGale and darken the background yourself and add it as a separate stage. I don't know how you would code the stage so that it would randomly choose between day or night, though.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I thought you meant that the stage changed coloration depending on the number of matches you've played. Like, if you're in Arcade and you beat an opponent in your first match, then two matches later in your fourth match (NOT round, so don't say "LLOZ DER R ONLTY 3 RONDZ N00B!!1!!1!1") that same stage from your first match is randomly chosen, only at night time.

But it transitions between day and night in between rounds? Sounds like a nifty feature. Is this stage from MvC/MvC2? I've only played the arcade versions a couple of times, (the closest arcade to me is forty miles away, which sucks because it has Street Fighter III: Third Strike and both Dragon's Lair games) so I've never noticed that day-night transition. I've been looking for a Dreamcast version of MvC and MvC2 for a while because they're both really fun, especially MvC2. I hate Cable, though.

Edit: That Angel City site Lazyguy posted is down. =( I was gonna download Wario and Evil Kung Fu Man. Does Evil KFM suck? Several people have told me that he's too "tongue-in-cheek" for them.

I recently heard about this "Stickman" character. Does anyone have him and is he any good? I found him on one site, but the download link redirects me to some softcore porn site. I want him because if he has the proper anatomy he would be a decent template for my own character (Gotta get into character creation eventually, even if it means using someone else's code, at least for now).

Also, this might seem a little off-topic, but are there any sites with Bruce Faulconer mp3s that aren't in torrents?

Hey, just a question for you guys. What do you guys think the funnest version of Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, and Akuma are? Originally I wasn't going to have any Street Fighter characters because a lot of M.U.G.E.N translations aren't accurate or are seriously overpowered. But now I'm just basing the Street Fighter chars on fun factor. Could any of you give me your preferences and make a .rar for me? Please? No one has responded to any of my questions (other than that thing about Children of the Atom) or requests, so I would really appreciate it if one of you guys made a .rar of your favorite versions of these four characters or gave me some links to them on web sites that haven't closed down yet.

Oh no, I know you can find them on the Internet. I'm just asking for the funnest versions. And thank you so much for that! And if possible, no Warusaki versions!

Not that I hate Warusaki, I just hate the grooves because of Warusaki chars just don't fit in with all of my other chars because of them. I hate having two seperate special gauges at the same time.
