Drive In Movie Theatres
Yes. I'm talking about those cool places where you drive your car in, tune your radio to the correct station and watch a movie through the fogged up windows of your 4 wheeled mode of transportation. How many of them actually exist anymore? Have any of you gff'ers been to a drive in theatre? If so, what movie did you watch? Any memorable experiences?
I have been to a drive in movie theatre. There is one remaining one here in Winnipeg. Its really cool. You just tune your radio to the correct station and you can listen to the movie even if its cold. The concessions are really expensive but thats because the theatre has no money. If it weren't for some generous people, it would be closed by now. Not very many people go anymore unless they are playing a really hyped up movie. Also its not operation during 6 months of the year due to winter, so that has an affect on its operation. The one time I went was back a couple years ago now. Saw the movie 40 year old virgin for the first time there. Good movie. At least what I saw while I wasn't facing my girlfriend. Sadly, that was the last real date I had with that girlfriend before she had to move to The Pas and we broke up. But otherwise it was pretty cool. Had lots of friends there that night. Bunch of different vehicles. We had walkie talkies lol. So lots of movie commentary going back and forth.
So lets hear about your drive in experience.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
