2) Without the seal, Naruto wouldn't be able to control Kyuubi. Sasuke would be toast if Kyuubi somehow entered his body without there being an appropriate seal in place.

Hey, can we relax a little here? I wasn't all like "ur theory sux, and u sux for thinking of it. Even though you said it was a crackpot theory, I was just pointing out that the natural consequence of that happening would be that Kyuubi would manifest himself through Sasuke without restraint. That's actually a moderately interesting concept, since my spider-sense tells me that's going to be how the endgame might play out anyway. I've been assuming all along that eventually Naruto will lose control over Kyuubi, in some way or another. What I didn't think of, until you posted, was that Kyuubi might not always be in Naruto. I doubt Kyuubi himsel has the power to leave Naruto's body, but maybe some outside force could cause a transfer.

It was originally scheduled to be 26 episodes of filler. The fillers have since been extended beyond that point, and there is no definite end in sight. The next three or four episodes have been announced, and they are indeed fillers, with no sign of "Kakashi Gaiden" or anything else regarding "part two" of the story arc.

Maybe at the time, they didn't think it was bullshit. Honestly, I can't see myself ever looking at the anime in the same way again. I've decided that from the end of the chuunin arc, my involvement with Naruto is manga-only. Even if they get back on track, you can't just erase the fillers. You can't just erase the dozens of pointless, meaningless Rasengans, or the Curry of Life.

I've watched most of the fillers, but I stopped a while ago. I forget just how long. About a hundred and seventy-something, I believe. The only anime episodes that I will watch again are those that took place before the first filler. The manga is good enough that I don't need that crap.

I said exactly that on another forum. Everyone thought I was crazy. I believe that there will be more filler between manga-based episodes even when we rejoin the main story in Naruto the anime. I also think that the next time Naruto gets ahead of the manga, the anime will simply create its own ending. It has been done before.

I was re-reading a HQ version yesterday and we all know the seal weakening also you can clearly see the some sort of seal on the gate Kyubbi is behind. Maybe it's as easy as taking it off, but I guess that would be too easy huh. I just hope it happens soon, as I'm not a fan of kyubbi naruto.

You're not a fan of the exact thing that makes it possible for the main character to have an enormous amount of chakra? This whole series couldn't have been written without Naruto's Kyuubi powers. The whole Kakashi-team would have died in the fight with Haku, for one thing.

That aside, though, I've always liked Naruto's Kyuubi powers. I do think that it's likely that the seal will break though, one day. I just wonder what sort of powers Naruto will have afterwards. He's been so used to being able to draw from an almost limitless chakra pool.

It's always possible that the Kyuubi might end up tranferring itself to another body, but what I'm saying is that unless the transfer is done using a Jutsu of the same level as the fourth's Shinigami pact, then it's possible that Kyuubi would just take over whatever new body he went into. It has been thanks to the complex double seal on Naruto's abdomen that he's able to control Kyuubi.

In essense, I think it would be like what happened to Gaara in the end of the Chuunin exam. The Nine Tailed Demon Fox would simply become manifest through the physical body of his host, and proceed to wreak havok. If you take into account not only the massive, epic battles, but also the fact that Naruto would have lost most of his power, that would be one hell of a story-arc.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Shippuuden will be OK if someone eventually makes a kind of abridged version of it, editing together the minute instances of exciting Naruto. Unfortunately it will take about three episodes to make one abridged episode that is worth watching.
