The last time I used it, I had a playlist with a few thousand songs on it, and every time I scrolled through it, it had to reload all of the tag information. And I didn't have a complex playlist setup (just a basic [#]. [artist] - [album] - [track #] - [track] [time].) Maybe it helps reduce memory usage, but it doesn't make anything faster in the end.

It is infinitely customisable. I'm a control freak, go fig. It took me a couple of weeks to get everything exactly the way I want it, but I now have it customised to my own personal style. I also don't have long playlists. They max out at 30 songs. I'm not suggesting that Foobar is better for you, or better for everyone. I'm saying it's better for me.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?
