A lot of people seem to think that FFVII would benefit from a remake. I really can't agree, personally. I do like FFVII, to some extent, but I question the quality that a remake would be. While there is absolutely no doubt that the technical aspects of the game could have been improved on a more powerful console, there's no real need for that. The game looks and plays quite well enough.
The only aspect that I would like to see recieve any improvements is the story, and going on Square Enix's recent output, they clearly lack the capacity to actually make any changes an improvement in that department.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
