Monster cables are overpriced and do nothing that generic brand don't do for less, just so you know. I think that's the most important thing to get out of the way first. If you think the improvement you can see right now is impressive, you'd be stunned by the improvement in quality you get from component. I doubt your current equipment supports it, but you could easly achieve a massive improvement in output quality on almost any console by connecting it to a screen that supports component video.
