Can Silver Live accounts still purchase and play Live Arcade games?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Yes I believe so. They just can't do the multiplayer. I think that's about it. Unless I'm missing something....
Thanks. With the price drop in effect, I'm seriously planning to get a 360, but I'm still not sure about XBL Gold.

I just made 3 accounts, after they all expired I just kept the first one I created. Its damn annoying they only accept Visa or Mastercard debit cards so I'm forced to use the prepay cards.
From some of your posts, I would assume you also are from the U.K. and if that is the case, I've got a question for you. Which stores sell the prepaid cards? Do they also sell prepaid cards for M.S. Points? I also do not use a Visa or Mastercard. If I buy anything from Live, it will be by way of cards.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Well then would I be able to just re-download the content on my own drive if I purchased it on another?
You would. However because you originally downloaded it on a different 360, you would need to be logged into XBOX Live to use any of the things you download. Also, nogamertag other than the yours will be able to use the things you download, except on the first console to download that content.

Forget about drives, they aren't relevant. It's consoles and gamertags. Your best option to transfer shit is to get a small memory unit to copy your saves, and then redownload your DLC.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Whilst this is true, and was previously your only option, Microsoft have got an online facility to allow you to migrate your licences to your new machine: Xbox.com | System Use - Transferring Content Licenses to a New Console
I keep reading posts saying that didn't get the job done, but I guess maybe that's more the incompetance of the users rather than the fault of the tool. At least some of those posts were from GameFAQs, so...

Thanks for enlightening me, Tritoch. I had no idea about that loophole.

I was speaking idiomatically.
