He is a NT, but compared to the likes of Amuro, Kamille, Haman and Scirocco he's not much of a NT.
Zeon Zum Daikun is the full name of the father, and Casval Lem Daikun the real full name of Char Aznable. Char did apparenly go by "Edward Mass" at some point, I think that's mentioned in the novels.

Finally most of the animation is old. Only some of the scenes were redone. So I wouldn't bother watching the movies instead if for some reason you didn't like the old animation (which is stupid since it looks fine).
I won't be watching the movies any time soon. The series was fine by me, and I don't like the changes that have been made.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Not that I really disagree, but are you actually saying that you don't find Yazan comical to a certain extent in Zeta? I found him to be amusing because his character was so much larger than life... He was a serious character, sure enough, but I couldn't help being amused by him.

The second half is quite a bit better since Tomino came back onboard, but it's just too little too late. It'll probably be released on DVD in the US after they finish the Z single DVD release.
I can't agree that it was too little, too late. I'd rather see ZZ redone with some changes, but it moves the story forward. It also has one of my favourite Gundam designs. I love the Double Zeta Gundam, in it's various forms.

The one I'm waiting for is V Gundam. An excellent series, almost as good as Z. Unfortunately Bandai seems to be too wrapped up pleasing the SEED fans. Ugh, I despise SEED. A disgrace to real Gundam.
The one I'm waiting for (and will never see) is an animated series of Crossbone Gundam. A movie at least...

I still haven't read some of the various novels and manga T.T I never knew about the Edward Mass thing.
Seems I could be mistaken. I didn't recall any mention of it in Mobile Suit Gundam, but then I've not seen the movies. Series only.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

It's not out on DVD, but it's out there on the net... it's worth watching. I mean c'mon, it's not great, but it doesn't suck entirely. I haven't yet seen it all though. It's just variable in quality enough to make me leave it until almost last

isn't that a sequel or sidestory of f91?
Sequel yes, sidestory definitely not. It's quite a significant chapter in UC Gundam history... there are manga scanlations around, somewhere. I doubt they will ever animate it though...

Just there to elicit a laugh. I didn't like that at all. Not from the same guy who took out like half the AEUG pilots by himself, and even fought Kamille on equal footing at one point.
This is true, and I wasn't making a point about his character in ZZ so much as I was just making a point that he was also an amusing character in Zeta. I think that's part of the reason why the ZZ scripts sort of badly misjudged how to chacterise him. That and the fact that Tomino had decreed that ZZ would be a more light-hearted anime, to offset the ending of Zeta.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
