WTF 9 pages without me

Alright, the price... $250. $250. When I heard the price would be no more than $250, that's exactly what I predicted. I consider $200 to be wishful thinking, though there was a very slight possiblity that it could've happened. Anyone who even remotely believed the $170 rumor is an idiot.

Am I happy? Yes.

Virtual Console Price. Well, I can see where many of the complaints are coming from, and I doubt I'll be buying many, if any at all, NES games from it. The SNES and N64 prices were a bit more reasonable. I'm not terribly disappointed, but it could be better. So *shrug*

November 17th is perhaps the only thing that has disappointed me. This is only a few days after my bro's birthday, and he hates Nintendo so this is going to be very bittersweet. Plus, it's quite a LOT later than what I hoped for. I have patience. I think.

Excite Truck has actually always been my most anticipated launch game for Wii ever since I saw the short vid, over Twilight Princess, Red Steel, and even MSAnthology. I'm not excited about the news of it being a launch game (I thought everybody knew that), I'm just glad to see interest upping

Wait... was the Wii ever advertised by Nintendo stating it's "substantially lower price"?

Oh, and Controller Price. Okay, this is perhaps my biggest upset. I didn't even know the nunchuck part came seperately

How ya doing, buddy?

I dunno, I actually thought it was going to be $250 regardless of whether Wii Sports was bundled or not.

How ya doing, buddy?

!!!

I didn't even CATCH this part. Wow, I really don't know what to think now. Completely goes against what I was saying.

Wow. Uhh... hmm. Well I myself prepared for a $250 price launch, and while WiiSports piqued my interest, I didn't really consider it to be on my list of MUST GET. I guess I'm indifferent to the whole thing.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Haha, that was quite something. Although, it took a few posts to get to the funny stuff.

Can someone fully explain how calibration of the controller is supposed to be done? The more I read into things, the more confused I become. Apparently I'm not pointing at the TV, and sensor motions are the exact same no matter the size of the TV?

I was speaking idiomatically.

That certainly makes sense. Does this mean that if you strafe the controller while pointing it in the same direction, that the cursor doesn't move on the screen?

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Well, I'm not talking about strafing in FPS's (or actual character movements) at all. But simply, I'm wondering whether strafing the controller will cause the cursor on the screen to move. It seems pretty obvious that strafing will be done with the Nunchuk for FPs's.

Wait, this deal is for EBGames as well? LAME. I didn't know that.

Oh well, I never buy consoles or handhelds from those places anyway, Best Buy has been surprisingly faithful with my purchases.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

The fact Nintendo has chosen this style of online networking has us all very happy indeed. As ever, voice your opinions on the forums by the link below!
This is excellent news if true; while I never had a problem with friend codes for different games, there should be much less complaining now, and that's all that really matters

Jam it back in, in the dark.

What other 4-player events will need to utilize the Nunchuk peripheral (in any game, not just Banana Blitz)?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Yo, guys, a very dandy development tool "LiveMove" has been announced. Article can be found here. Apparently it allows developers to program motion macros by simply imputting the movements in a couple times, and LiveMove does the rest.

Check out this video, complete with awesome demo "typing" game. Quite spiffy.

I know where you guys are coming from, and it's one of the reasons I decided to get it on launch.

I also didn't preorder, for the sole purpose of camping out. Camping is usually an experience, but for this console specifically, it's going to be a blast, as I'm sure there will be many, MANY more DS users then there were for the X360 campouts.

Well that was depressing.

Went to Wal-mart, got a ticket, came home. Will go back midnight.

It's too easy.

I was number 16. Pretty high, but they weren't giving out tickets until an hour before I arrived. I called in the morning, there was no line of any sort, and they told us to call back at 5PM.

Boring. Standing there would've also been boring, since everyone else who got a ticket also left, or lol explore.

Now I'm wishing I preorded.

Double Post:
Well I am now the proud owner of the Nintendo Wii! Was extremely surprised to hear the Walmart I went to only received 23 (WTF) consoles. I got Zelda, Excite Truck, and Banana Blitz, and Metal Slug Anthology has shot to the top of my priority list.

::gone forever::

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

How odd... I always found the Wii Menu and Wii Sports sensitivity to be remarkably similar (and both perfect), and I really disliked the pointing in games like Zelda and Red Steel.
