I started reading the books just before the film came out - never finished but went to see the movie instead.
Either I was tired or really wasn't in the mood for seeing this but I found the movie a bit boring and tiresome. Dont get me wrong, I love fantasy films the like of eragon, inkheart [out soon] and Lord of the Rings. Just this film didn't seem to have any pace at all and dragged on a bit. I will finish the book and then watch the film again for better informed decsion. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
