I don't think that anyone can complain about the graphics of MGS4 though. (but people will try)

As for Subsistance, I don't know if this has already been discussed but does anyone have the SE version of this game? And if so, is that third disc really worth getting the SE version for? Just wanted to know before I went to buy this game.

Thanks ^^;

Jam it back in, in the dark.

The aiming of MGS3 online is... well interesting. For long range you can use the laser sight that's on some guns, and for others you have to go into first-person, and then aim using the iron sights. For close range all you need to do is face in the general direction and pull the trigger and it'll auto aim. But trust me, if you get close enough to use the auto aim, you tend to be better off using your knife or your melee attack.

I know this system sounds complicated, and it kind of is. But once you get the hang of it it works really well, and you'll appreciate the freedom it gives you to develop your own method of attack. If you like team based combat, this game does it the best. If you like fighting on your lonesome though, it can get tedious. And there's a cool mode that resembles Splinter Cell's online portion where you can do Snake VS a selectable team (ex. the Ocelots, Kruchevs men, Volgen's Men, ect.).

One of my favouriate parts of MGSO is that if you do team games, the person with the best stats on each team gets to use the team leader character. (ex. you have a team of ocelots and the best player plays as Ocelot himself). You don't really get any special stats or techniques because of it, but it's cool to see the faction leaders running around the battlefield.

that's exactly right. But I've also heard that the disc that comes with MGS3 SE is only part one of the whole thing. Hopefully this is not the case though because it would be a pain to get the rest.

I've been busy in that mode myself and have gotten about as far as you. You are right though some of thoes specials are pretty darn hard. (right up there with European Extreme). But to this day though I still find the battle against Volgin the toughest battle in the game by far. If anyone has any good strategies for laying waste to this disturbing and powerful boss, plese post them here or PM me. ^^

I know that alot of people find the final battle hard, but I've done it so many times I can make them look like a joke.

How ya doing, buddy?

Here was my method to deal with Fear
:
He is quite easy. All I did was use the thermal goggles and the AK47 and he was down 1,2,3.

Spatula:
Spoiler:
Actually if you rewatch the cinematic at the end of the tanker in MGS2 Ocelot sais that he abandoned mother Russia when he turns on Gurlukavitch.

Mobius: I think you're on the right track, though I don't really know myself. ^^;

Update: Accumilate 50 hours of online gameplay time to unlock Reiko and Dixie from Konami's "Rumble Roses".

Well you could do chokeholds, but you couldn't drag them and use them as human shields though I don't think. If I remember correctly you could only snap their necks.

I wouldn't be surprised if I was wrong though, because when I want to play MGS1 I play the GC version anymore. Best remake ever!!!
