Some of thoes stages are direct rips of KoF stages.
KoF STAGES Adell's airship from 2003 Magaki's area from KoF XI Tekken STAGES Jin's cathedral from Tekken 5 The wilderness stage from T4 Also the outdoor daytime cathedral from Tekken 5: DR SNK VS Capcom STAGES Burning city stage (SNK VS Capcom 1 -PS1 version) [second trailer] As for this free game itself. I'll save the verdict for when I play it. But at least it's interested me in actually playing it however. Hopefully they're music isn't as ripped-off as their stages. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
True, but you're talking about a "must have" title for what is considered a niche market.
But who knows. If this new Street Fighter craze turns out to be serious with people actually becoming willing to buy fighting games again and turns into a profitable genre, perhaps the fighting crossovers like CAPCOM VS SNK will return. We can only hope. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
It wouldn't be happening then.
It's fine to hope & dream. But then you have to think about the praticality, and when you do it's hard enough to get 2 companies to collaborate to make a VS game, nevermind a game where so many companies all face one another. Therefore if it were on the DS... well it would never happen. Plus after what happened to Guilty Gear on the DS, I never want to see another fighting game on the DS again. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
