I know that this is off topic and I apoligize for that, but I'm getting the game soon myself and what I wanted to know was can you issue commands using the headset like you can in Rainbow Six: Lockdown?

That's alright man. Though that is a disapointment. I really like issuing commands via voice, it makes the control scheme of a tactical game much cleaner. But from what I've seen the commands look pretty basic and clean cut. Still though...
UPDATE I just played this game online after getting stuck on misson Mayday! and I love playing this thing online. It just works well, and I prefer G.R.A.W. over SOCOM 3. So if anyone wants to go for a couple of rounds (and more then likely whoop my a**) then just PM me and we'll set something up. ^^ Most amazing jew boots
