[360] Game suggestions needed. Desperately.

Right so my brother got me a 360 this January, which was cool as I'd always wanted one. Cooler still was that it was a Gear of War special pack or something: came in a MASSIVE red box and both the Gears games. I literally cried when I first saw it. Far Cry 2 also came with (that was part of an offer at the particular store he bought it from). Awesome right?


Here's the depressingly embarrassing situation months later: I hardly play it. Its not that I don't want to, its that I seriously do not know what to play! I've beaten both the Gears games (twice), and played a bit of Assassin's Creed, but I quit on the latter on account of the fact that I've already played and beaten it. I think I have a copy Dead Space somewhere under a couch or something, but beyond that, I'm stumped. What do I PLAY?! I don't really read GameSpot or GameSpy or any other gaming publication as much as I once did and maybe thats why I'm completely lost.

The console's been sitting pretty, eating dust for the past several months. And I am simply ashamed.

And so I extend desperate mass-call for help: Help me, please. Gimme names of a few truly engaging games. They don't have to be strictly shooters. Hell, I'm so desperate I'll even play RPGs (something I don't really play much).

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I already have Prototype for the PC. Played it for 5 minutes and was seriously unimpressed. I could clearly tell it just wasn't for the PC. I suppose I'll give it a shot on the 360.

Braid, again I have this for the PC. LOVE IT! The music is awesome as is the general game design. I haven't played much of it yet though. Playing a lot of indie stuff on my PC these days, and this one's sitting pretty right now.

@Yushiro: Nice. Good suggestions mate. I'm definitely getting Banjo-Kazooie. And I'm alreadyw aiting for CoD: MW2.

OK, I keep hearing people mentioning that game. I saw trailers and whatnot back when it came out and it didn't really look all that interesting. Figured it was a GTA-like game where you can jump around a lot. Speaking of which, not much a GTA fan me. I'm pretty much the only person I know alive who hasn't played GTA IV.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I'm actually downloading the demo was Arkham Asylum for the PC. If I like it, and I have a feeling I just might, I'll definitely get it.

I've also played Left 4 Dead, but only a little. Thing is, here in Pakistan, there's not much multiplayer gaming to be had. Sure, there's LAN-gaming cafe's and a few ISP-exclusive game servers, but thats hardly much. Lesser still for consoles, if even at all. I could connect to foreign servers (and I once used to) but I would (and I did) get crap pings.

Anyway, the names are piling up now. So far I've finalized Dead Space and Dead Rising. I'm having just a wee bit trouble tracking them however seeing as how my console's PAL and these games, although available in stores, are available in NTSC.

I'll be playing 'em in a day or two some way or the other though. Always how it is.

Thanks a bunch-load guys. Keep 'em coming. I'll need more games when I'm dine with these. xD
