For Point-and-Shoot, Canon Powershot's the way to go. Nikon's Coolpix line isn't bad, and there are a few rare Sony/Panasonic/Fuji models that do OK, but Canon's just leagues ahead of all the other point-and-shoots.
For DSLR, Nikon or Canon - you won't go wrong with either. Hold one of each and go with the one that feels more comfortable in your hands. Not even kidding - that's the way to pick between the two systems if you don't have a pile of old equipment from one of them. Most amazing jew boots |
