For the most part I keep my life pretty modern. There are a few exceptions, however.
I drive a Manual Transmission and will until they stop making them. It's flat-out more fun. I also use Analog watches exclusively (except when exercising).
My Digicam is huge, but that's because I went all the way to DSLR and bypassed the Point-and-Shoot stage. My cell phone is ancient and basic, but I can throw it against the wall and nothing will break, so I consider it a good thing.
When I go out biking for fun, I ride a 10-Speed that my father built back in the mid 70s. Still in great shape and to build something of comparable quality and weight nowadays would probably cost you $1500-2000, and even though its age is showing (through the overall look of the frame and the lack of modern features) I love it.
I also despise the new minivans where you push a button and the door automatically slides open oh-so-slowly. Another part to break or to jam in an accident. No thanks.
How ya doing, buddy?
