Safe mode usually won't clear out those. Here's how you do it.
Ctrl+Alt+Del to open the Task Manager Find the process called explorer.exe End this process In the Task Manager, go up to File->New Task Type in cmd.exe The window that opens up is how you can delete files that seem undeletable. you might have to do a bit of browsing to find the file or folders that you want to delete. You can use old DOS commands like cd and del to get rid of files. For example, if you want to delete XYZ.EXE in C:\Program Files\Downloads, type in: cd c:\Program Files\Downloads del XYZ.exe When you are finished, you can close this window. To get Windows back to normal: Ctrl+Alt+Delete File->New Task explorer.exe Viola. Jam it back in, in the dark.
