I'm on Cox, but Tucson's lines have never been great and most houses are really far away from the good lines. They really stretch that last mile here. This is for about $45 a month (I pay a little over $90 for internet and expanded basic cable).

So, I just moved last week. And I used to be wired into my router, now I'm on a wireless G card.
This is to the testing server in my city: ![]() This is to one 150 miles away: ![]() This is to the one that is 500 miles away: ![]() Oddly, even though these speeds are all 2000+ slower than at my last address, I've been downloading from places much, much faster. I had a torrent hit almost 1000 KB/s last week (I never saw over 600 at my other place) and a download I just tested at download.com hit 450 KB/s (which would translate to faster than the top two test speeds there). How ya doing, buddy? |
