I hope Acer did better than me, because Tucson is still completely gone. I've made a list of places I can call and get to on my lunch break and a list of ones I could try after work. I'd really like to have one by Wednesday so I can enjoy it over the entire weekend.

I did take the advice of buying games early and picked up copies of Zelda and BIG DAMN TRUCKS. Circuit City was completely out of classic controllers, though, so that was all I ended up getting. Circuit City did have a neat promotion to get a $10 gift card for buying two games, so I guess today wasn't completely wasted.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Has anyone heard of any stores getting restocked yet? I still call the few within a short driving distance around me each day at lunch, but have had no luck.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Damn, I called Toys 'R' Us at around that time, but gave up after they had me on hold for almost 5 minutes. I wonder if they were busy unloading a new shipment.

Best Buy told me point blank that they have no Wiis for sale tomorrow, but everyone on Cheap Ass Gamer is saying the stores are lying if they say that. Maybe I'll run by a few minutes before opening and hope there isn't a line.

I got mine at Best Buy today too!

I got there at 9 am (I knew they were opening at 10 am) and there was already a pretty good sized line. They said no one had been out yet to say how many Wiis or anything with tickets, so I waited. At about 9:30, a guy came out and handed out tickets; I ended up #40 out of 54 Wiis they were handing out.

I already had a copy of Zelda and BIG DAMN TRUCKS, but I decided to get Trauma Center and went on my merry way. I was out of there by 10:15.

I thought it was odd, the people in line seemed oddly uninformed. This rumor went through the whole line that a nunchuk wasn't included in the box and no one seemed to believe me when I told them it was.

So, very cool.

Off to set it up when I finish breakfast.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

I had the downloading updates problem until I switched my router to channel 11. After that, it has worked flawlessly.
