Nothing like getting a copy, standing behind the gate a rubbing it in the first person in line's face that I got a copy before them.
Do that and people'll complain, possibly getting that friend of yours fired. Just quickly run to your car and get home and post your friend code. GFF better be doing some online shit after midnight!

Jam it back in, in the dark.

So, is everyone planning to take advantage of GFWiki and post their friend codes, or is this going to be a PM type thing?

In any case, mine is 2621-2272-3991. PM me and I'll add you.

They had this problem in Japan. This is the first dual-layer Wii game, and so the lens is sometimes unable to read it due to dust or cigarette smoke.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Olimar is really, really interesting to me, but I can't use him at all. Doesn't stop me from using him in the number three or four spot in Subspace Emissary, though. Once the community settles into the game, I'll have to do some research on him.

A few things:

- Thanks to whoever added my Friend Code to the Wiki, but I have no idea who's added me at this point.

- I just finished up Subspace Emissary today, as well as unlocking all of the characters. Working on stages now.

- Wario surprised the hell out of me. He's pretty fast considering the kind of character he is, and he's got a lot of multi-hit moves (Corkscrew is awesome). Still don't really understand how Wario Waft works, though.

- Aside from Wario, I enjoy using Luigi, Ike and Pokemon Trainer.

The lag actually isn't so bad this time around but now I'm getting alot of dropped connections T_T.
Still, it was fun, though I hope you didn't mind that I jumped in. But that last match, right when I was finally getting the upperhand! It was sad to see it end prematurely.

I switched it over to random brawl though, out of fear that I was causing the lag/dropouts.

I was speaking idiomatically.

The only reason I don't like 2 minute brawls is because it leaves me only 10 seconds to do something with a fully-charged Wario Waft.

Otherwise, I think it's the perfect amount of time.

If you were doing clans by characters, you wouldn't have to worry about people selecting counters anyway (because people would have to use the characters that they joined the clans with). The only time it would get in the way would be if a clan fought another clan that happened to have a lot of counters to their own group.

I'm not sure if it's even possible for there to be varying lag times based on TVs alone. Just check the options menu. If there's some weird option for it, there's some weird option for it. Otherwise, I'm not sure how much help we can be.

Q. Is it bad that all three opponents in online Basic Brawl dropped out when I beat the crap out of them with Olimar?

A. No. It's so damn awesome.

The home run ones aren't that bad. You could probably just settle for hitting it at 0% and then walking away.

The highest you need to reach is about 37,500 feet, I believe.
Nope, there's one for 45,000 as well.

Today's Update: Hannenbow

Does anyone actually like this stage?
I typically don't play the stages where I am more distracted by the stage itself than the opponents. Hannenbow is one of those stages, even though I think the design itself is neat.

Oh, so there's a name for that. I wonder if there's one for self-destructing while trying to perform Wario's down air.

EDIT: Uh oh, lag. I wonder what's causing it. Oh, right, you guys were doing a brawl.

EDIT2: You guys are too good. I need to stick with my regulars.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

It's a lot easier than you might think! IC did it right now, too. And don't get me started on Mario Bros. I was using Luigi-- yeah, poor traction really helps there. I was getting knocked around like a freakin' pinball.

I think Wario versus Wario on Final Destination is a good way to end the night, IC. Excellent matches! Thank God I didn't lose that last one, seeing as Wario is my signature character. It seems like you weren't really comfortable with him and you still almost beat me. I need to practice more!

Even more bikes were launched into the abyss! It was easily the funniest match of the night, but also one of the more intense. That one, the three of us at Temple, and that match on the Bridge of Eldin were all down to the wire. We're all kind of on the same skill level, so we oughtta do this again!

How ya doing, buddy?

Next time, Ani.

Most definitely. Although I was slightly pissed off at the Bridge of Eldin match. That one should've been mine.

But that's what I get for trying to Snakedash all the time.
Well, I almost pissed away the Mario Circuit match when I was Ike. I went from having a pretty comfy lead to barely squeaking it out at the last minute (what was I at, 80% or something?). IC adapted pretty well in these matches whenever the third player was eliminated. I tend to clam up when I'm one of the last two players in a match.

I waited a couple matches to see if she'd come back, but then I just assumed you were leaving Ike around as a backup character! I just barely won the last match because of that and had been playing for a while, so I thought I should go. Sorry!

It was fun. Luigi versus Luigi was a weird match.

Sorry about the abrupt sign off Wolf, it wasn't intentional-- the power went out.

BM, I wouldn't mind getting some fights in, if you're still around. I'll add you as soon as I'm out of Basic Brawl.

Sorry for leaving after one match, but I told BM we'd fight. I thought the second person in your match was him and picked Ike for crowd control... so I was thrown off pretty well when it was just Akito's character sitting around again. Ike's no good for one-on-ones, and a Bowsercide was probably a fitting end.

EDIT: Not sure what happened there at the end, but great games GB. Your Wario is definitely a monster on the battlefield! I'd be happy to play again any time, so feel free to ask whenever! Thanks for playing.
Not sure what happened either, but it caused my controller to rumble until WFC finally booted us!

You're good with just about everyone out there, but I was particularly impressed with your Zelda and Pokemon Trainer (Charizard in particular). You didn't use them a whole lot, but I was practically helpless when you did. Definitely will have to do this again.
