Been playing Pokemon Diamond (DS) for quite a while now, giving my poor handheld a much needed workout (been pretty neglected since I finished off Portrait of Ruin). Combat's a little slow even with animations turned off, but it's still the addicting game it was back in '98 or whenever it was. Right now I'm working on crafting my perfect team, and it's such a nice feeling to know that nobody else has my party setup (because of my use of Underused and even Never Used pokemon). It's tempting me to get Pokemon Battle Revolution (Wii), but... I'm still undecided.
Been trying to play .hack//G.U. Vol. 2 - Reminisce (PS2), but it's just too painful to read and listen to this story. You can't have it both ways in the sense that the game's supposed to be about real life people in a MMORPG and then throw in completely zany shit that isn't possible, no matter how far in the future you could go. The combat, while a bit repetitive, is really enjoyable to me, so it's bothering that I can't move on.
So, since .hack is failing me, the only console action I'm getting in would be with Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (Gamecube, being played on the Wii). I never did beat the final boss and I loved the atmosphere of the game, so I've been getting into it again. Never really saw why a lot of people disliked it, even if bucket carrying is a bit of a nuisance.
