I guess in spite of Unreal Tournament 2004's primarily run n' gun scenarios, I love being a sniper in that game, rather it's with the far more inaccurate Lightning Gun or the Sniper Rifle. Given the game's push toward frantic dodging and constant movement, being a sniper is relatively difficult, and I'll admit I do take a little pride in being pretty damn good with that rifle in spite of how the game is geared toward something like the Minigun, Rocket Launcher, and Shock Rifle.

I'll also throw in that getting an InstaGib game going with some really good players will help you learn how to aim -- fast. For those unintiated, in UT2004 some of the maps can be set up for InstaGib rules, meaning one-shot kills. The only rifle is a Shock Rifle, and you basically fire away. It can be really frantic, but if you're playing with some really good people, it helps to tweak your accuracy real quick.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
