Let's throw some stuff out there.
PS3 Heavenly Sword - Fuck yes. I loved the demo, even if it was an early build of the game and not an accurate representation of the final build. This game is gonna kick ass on so many levels. Must-buy indeed. Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction - I've owned every Ratchet game available, and I've no doubt this is gonna be triple-A stuff. Next-gen Lombax = complete win. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - A nice adventure title to get away from the hacking and the platforming. Naughty Dog's always produced quality material and Uncharted looks fantastic. Unreal Tournament III - Fuck, it's UT. With added wireless keyboard and mouse support and the ability to play PC gamers online as well as download all the mods for it, this game is definitely getting purchased. White Knight Story (?) - I only hope this game makes it by year's end. It's looking doubtful, but I haven't heard anything about a release date, so here's hoping. Warhawk - Ultimately, I'd like to play this game. It reminds of how good Star Fox used to be -- playing as either infantry, in a tank, or in the sky was crazy fun, and Warhawk is taking that experience and putting it online with no cost to play. Sweet. PS Home - Not a game, but I'm stoked nonetheless. I'm really excited to see what Home is gonna do to change the way online console communities gather. My own virtual apartment? Sweet. An online community arcade room? Double sweet. PSP Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions - I never really played the original FFT back on the PSone, so I'm excited to try it again. Back then, I wasn't big into strategy games and I'm still not all that amped about them, but this is the granddaddy of turn-based tactical RPGs, so it at least deserves a shot. Jeanne d' Arc - After playing the demo, I'm dead-set on getting my hands on Jeanne d' Arc. Level-5 delivers once again, and I've no problem putting my money behind their work. Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness - It's Disgaea. It took me awhile, but I eventually grew to enjoy the first one. Trying to track down a copy of the sequel has been difficult, so until I find one, the PSP game will more than suffice. Dragoneer's Aria - I know so little about the game, but there's so much stuff and hype about it that I'm bound to check it out just to see how awesome it is. Infernal's post reminded me -- Redesigned PSP - Yeah I'm gonna buy one. I've got an original 1.50 firmware, so I'll probably flash it and get some of the more stable custom firmware for emulation, and use my shiny silver one to play Daxter, watch the Family Guy collection, and play my PSP games on. Two PSPs = tremendous win. PS2 Wild Arms 5- I've purchased every Wild Arms game to come out so far, for better or worse. So, here's another one for the collection. Growlanser: Heritage of War - I really liked the Growlanser Generations collection on the PS2 and I wanna play/own this one. Wii NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams - I've been waiting what, 11, 12 years for this game? Fuck if I'm not gonna buy it, that'd be stupid. People should buy this just to get a series rolling on it. Fat chance ever seeing it on the PS3, but it's the only reason I bought a Wii, so it's a must-have. Soul Calibur Legends - I'm a Soul Calibur whore, and hopefully this one turns out to be a good deviant for the series. If it gets bad reviews for shitty conversion from fighting to action/adventure, I won't pick it up.
