[PS2] Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria

Still no damn release date listed on our pre-order list at work. T_T Anyone made a PSP thread yet? If not, should I make one or should we just contain it within this thread?

Whereas we don't have preorders available for VP: Silmeria, we DO have a preorder sku for the remake -- VP: Lenneth. Fuck yeah.

I won't quite go that for, Kostaki. VP: Silmeria will destroy some RPGs, sure, but it won't lay a hand on Rogue Galaxy. >_>; Level-5 for teh win.

It still looks fantastic though. I wish GameStop would hurry up and open up preorder slots for it, since it has already been confirmed for the U.S. Hell, we've got VP: Lenneth's preorders open.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Hard not to get excited after looking at all those screenshots. I just hope I can finish Okami before VP2 comes out.

Saw a review in the new Game Informer, and it actually only gave the game an 8. Said the worst thing about it though was really only the character development being a tad weaker than in the original Valkyrie Profile. I guess that's to be expected since they don't really have to flesh out Freya, Odin, Brahms, Arngrim, and Lezard this time around.

Fuck Final Fantasy XII. I wasn't even planning on getting it anyway, but now I see there's no reason to even bother with it anymore. VP2 is made of absolute win.

I'm still in Chapter 3, having just made it in to Kalstad. Only annoyance I have is with what seems to be an unusual spike in difficulty. Had a hard time beating down some of the enemies -- felt like I was constantly under-equipped or ill-prepared, which would be a first for any of my RPG experiences. Other than that, freakin' awesome game.
