I'll second Ad-aware, and look i found a link for you
I also like Spyware Doctor, not free, but there are ways round that. I've also found that using Firefox has reduced malware on my PC, you might want to give it a try, if not using it already. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
If I'm correct they are just cookies. They keep a track of the web sites that you have visited, and they don't harm your computer, they just take up a small amount of space on your hard drive.
The best thing for you to do would be to either GoTo Tools > Options > Privacy in Firefox. You will see an option towards to lower part of the box that says "keep cookies". Set this to "until i close Firefox" and this will delete all of the cookies each time you close down Firefox. If you do this, visit a few websites and then exit Firefox, and then run ewido the result should come back clean.
