Luckily we don't have this so much over on England. Sure the sales people ask if we need help or if we are interested in anything, but they normally don't ask if I would like to place a pre-order. It's normally the other way around for pre-orders.
But, if the sales people at my local store were to get me to pre-order something then it would probably be, as much as I hate to say this, World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. Everyone knows how much these bloody games make, and if the shops can get you to pre-order and buy the game, then they are onto a winner. All they have to do is put a big sign outside the shop saying "New World Of Warcraft Game: Pre-order now" and everyone will go into the shop like bees to honey.
They will also be trying to get people to pre-order the PS3 as it has yet to come out here. They are going to need all the help they can get with this one.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
