I worked from home the summer before I entered grad school. I read and analyzed research papers on microbiology and public health for the R&D department of a big disinfectant company, which I then wrote about and uploaded to an internal database for that company.

I got paid quite nicely, and it was an awesome way to kick back and relax before grad school. I ended up reading and analyzing about 600 research papers. So, besides being paid a decent wage, I learned a lot about microbiology that I didn't already know. Best job I ever had.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
