My most recent buy was Castlevania: Curse of Darkness for the PS2. I had been reluctant to buy it for the longest time because most reviews for it were bad (since when do I ever listen to what other people say about games?), but I found it cheap on ebay (about $15 including shipping to Sweden) the other week and decided to give it a chance.
My first impressions were that it seemed quite dull and the story didn't really make up for it. Bad voice acting (even with the japanese voices) and dull gameplay made it seem like a bad buy at first, but it kinda grew on me and now I actually like it a lot. It feels as close as SOTN as you can ever get with 3D graphics and there are some references to other games in there that makes playing it worthwile (go MOAI!). Definately a good buy, although ages late. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
