I didn't expect mush from the Eurovision Song contest this year and, frankly, I didn't like our(Sweden's) song very much and I think The (W)Ark(!) are a bunch of losers who need to get a real job instead of singing shitty pop music. I'm actually glad we didn't win because we really didn't deserve it at all. We need to know how it is to really struggle to get to the top or else shitty songs like that'll keep popping up year after year.
Serbia winning didn't come as a surprise though, but my personal pick was Georgia. It's not often you hear good, original, music in the ESC and it actually came as a bit of a surprise to me that something this well done actually made it to the finals

Overall the ESC was better than I had expected, but, then again, my expectations were very low from the start so exceeding them was an easy task indeed. All it took was one good song.
