I'm interested in this, and have a few thoughts I'll PM if we go with that idea. Right now I'm scheduled for travel starting the 12th to the 19th, which could possibly slip. However, if we've got dates well beforehand, I could probably just write something for posting prior, and squeeze in the 5 minutes to put it up. Also, I prefer a more freeform approach to this, as with others, I haven't owned all the consoles, so I'd be picking and choosing.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Glad that you messaged me Angel, as I had mentally flaked that this was coming up, and probably would have missed my day otherwise. Hopefully the review is up to snuff, as I had to bang it out between travel prep.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I wonder how much that will put a damper on the sequence breaking possibilities of those two games, as many of the best tricks like Dash Jumping rely on the targeting mechanisms of the first two games. Course, a lot of stuff could still be done with alternate techniques like laddered bombs, but I would probably still expect some new figures for min times and percentages on the upcoming versions.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
BoF V: DQ was actually my number two choice for this event. Probably my favorite thing about it is just the stark contrast that comes across for every aspect of it. Compared to past BoF games, it is a complete sea change, hardly identifiable as the same lineage. In its palette, same story. Everything you are involved with in the game is painted in gorgeous swaths of brilliance, but just outside your periphery waits an endless expanse of steel and dirt. The pictures you put within the Battle System section really capture this, and I am still often taken aback by how gorgeous this game is.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
I was speaking idiomatically. |
