In days of Omikron,Gabriel knight3 and Outcast , i used to pickup and try games just by looking at cover art.
Internet was totally rare and people had no knowledge,so getting reviews online was unimaginable.
That was the period when i came across very kick ass games.
One of them is Thief which i picked up by looking at cover art.
Halflife was launched , it had less system requirements, so i picked up that too ,to my surprise .... later it changed the gaming scene.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
