Personally, I think they MURDERED Resurrection in game. There's a hollow metallic sound during your attack and charge segments, and the music that's the buffer between phases could have been touched up too.
Otherwise I love the game. I still cant beat the Sambone Trio on masters though. Sigh... Jam it back in, in the dark. |
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
It also could help if you found another way of pressing the buttons. I have three ways (you probably do the first two subconsciously.)
1. Using the pad of the thumb. This is good for guard mode, as you can switch between the four buttons easier. 2. Using the side of the thumb (as in typing). This is better for Attack mode as you can press the button more times per second. 3. And finally, putting the controler on the floor and using my index finger. This involves using the entire arm to all but convulse and press the button almost 5 times faster than mode 2. This is the only way I could survive the parts I HAVE survived on Sambone Trio. Part three also works when trying to survive Solidus's torture in MGS2. And also, I'm going to have to agree with everyone else when they say listen to the soundtrack repeatedly, even though I think that may be what's messing me up with Sambone Trio. The part they keep sending at me is different than what's on the album version. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Well, if there's one thing you can count on on Master's mode is you will hear every variant possible, becuase you know, until you do a certain amount of damage it's going to loop back and choose another (or the same) track. And given how many times you may die, you're going to hear a lot.
Btw, I too like non album parts of Tainted Lovers better. I can't describe it that well, but it's towards the middle/end of the song, and it only has 4 notes per measure (I think) instead of 8 or so like the other one. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
