I absolutely hate storms, and would try to do a lot of things to get my mind off them when I was younger. Fortunately, the only storms I've experienced are thunderstorms, rainsqualls, and snowstorms.
Actually, I like snowstorms because I associate them with cuddling up and getting warm while the weather rages outside with the aftermath looking nice. Thunderstorms are destructive and rainsqualls make me envision floods.

Same here. I love snow and blizzards and all that good stuff but thunderstorms? No thanks.
I've always been a bit afraid of thunderstorms, mainly because for the longest time there was a huge tree out in next door's front yard that I thought would get struck by lightning and fall down everytime it stormed. It was finally cut down by my neighbor about 3 years ago, but I still hate storms. They disturb my sleep! ;_;
Tornadoes and hurricanes scare the living shit out of me and whenever there is a watch or warning going on I freak out. Especially for tornadoes. I don't know what sparked my fear of those things. :/
