I had a couple of questions, and ended up rewatching the new episode [Distractions], and... well, watching it again didn't really clear anything up. The first was about how Bennet got out of the Sylar's cell, but I assume that Haitian got him out. No big deal there.
More importantly... They let Niki/Jessica go, and she goes home to Micah, but... Where is DL? And all of the money that Micah brought home? Even if DL is just 'out of the house', it seems like he'd been gone a while, cause Jessica had a chance to shower and such. Bit of random neatness: In the episode after Eden dies, you see Mohinder talking with a cop. He says that she 'turned up dead', with a gunshot wound, in a certain Ramsey Lake, in Sudbury, Ontario. I thought that was sorta cool, cause that's pretty much where I live. The university I attend is on the lake, and the beaches that we hang out at in the summer. ![]() Jam it back in, in the dark. |
^ Yeah, it's probably something like that, I just thought the mention was cool.
My other question is... Originally, when Suresh found Sylar, he didn't really seem to have a power. After he killed the telekinesis guy [Brian, I think?] he 'gained' his power... But all the other 'murders' so far, he's cut out the person's brain. To see what makes them 'tick'. Do we know what he does to gain the powers yet? There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I think it was; but Hiro said that he "couldn't change the past"... I just assumed that he meant he wasn't able to change what happened. Then again, if you start thinking about the whole time travel thing, and creating rifts... Well, my head starts to hurt. Heh.
As for Sylar, technically he should only have the powers of telekinesis, and from Charlie at the diner, assuming he got her power. About Eden--we don't know if he got her power. Did she shoot herself, or did he pull the trigger? This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I agree with Drex; I mean, Hiro gave her the phrasebook on her birthday, just like she said. The only thing wrong with the situation is... The photo in the memorial, I don't think it had Hiro in it until he went back to save her. Then he suddenly appeared in it. I'll have to check on that, though.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
About the comment on Sudbury... I just went back to check it, cause it didn't seem right. He said that Sudbury was 100 miles out of Ontario, which isn't right. It's in Ontario. Ah well. Semantics.
Another small [yet random] tidbit: When Claire is lying on the autopsy table and she 'zips' herself back up, she has no bewbs. XD How ya doing, buddy? |
Maybe he wants to get back at him for demanding $4M instead of the original $2M? Or maybe it's something else we don't know about yet.
I like how Matt was able to hear both Jessica and Niki. About Claire and Nathan... She only met Peter, and left before Nathan came along. But heh, that makes Peter her uncle. [Obviously.] On the topic of Peter, though... He did come into contact with Sylar, so he should be able to use his powers. Though the question is--would Peter gain only Sylar's power, or all of his 'stolen' powers too? What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Should we also assume that Sylar has some sort of teleportation power? I mean, they said that Eden ended up in Sudbury after all, which is quite a ways from Texas where he was being held.

We already know that the father committed suicide. Mrs Petrelli gave up that story a while back, saying that the heart attacks were a cover up for his depressed condition, cause they didn't want Peter to know about it.
I think this all came out when Peter tried to 'commit suicide'/fly for the first time, but it might've been before that. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
So, at the end of episode 15, we saw that Mrs Bennet couldn't remember anything, and was freaking out. However... after Claire grabbed Lyle and brought him downstairs, she seemed perfectly fine. What actually happened there?
I know it should SEEM obvious, but in the shot where Mrs Bennet freaks out, you see food all over the kitchen, in various states of preperation, but in the next scene where she's fine, the kitchen is all clean. About Hayden Pannetiere, I also discovered that she voiced Kairi in the Kingdom Hearts series. I think I already knew that from seeing the game's credits, but I didn't know who she was at the time. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
And I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot more. I remember watching it from the beginning though, and spotting the symbol all over the place. I wonder what's up with it. ANYWAY, about this week's episode... I'm in just about as much awe as everybody else. This was a great episode, for many reasons. I'm just kinda sad though, that Spoiler:
I liked him. The last few minutes of the episode were really powerful. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
I can't see that being the last one--that's only episode eighteen. Most series now go for 22 to 26 episodes per season. There's GOT to be a few more.
Plus, they can't just leave the season there. There's gotta be SOME kind of closure. There'd better be, anyway. Heh. I was speaking idiomatically. |
It was kind of ambiguous though, whether or not Isaac actually used the drugs. I don't know, it almost looked like you could take the scene either way.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
The latest episode was really good, and I've watched it a couple times, but I have to say... the way they portrayed time travel is a little... well, off.
Don't get me wrong, I love Heroes, but I have to pick at this a little: Spoiler:
AHHHH my head hurts. It's a little hard to wrap my mind around what I'm trying to say, but I hope I got my point across. ![]() FELIPE NO |
No, I mean that Future Hiro said [and the comic says] that Present Hiro kills Sylar, or is supposed to.
Anyway, it makes way more sense if you look at is as being different timelines, and not as actual time travel. About Sylar being the bomb... We know that he never was, it was Peter all along. Saying it was Sylar was just a cover up to protect Peter. [Though, it's possible that Future Hiro is from a different timeline where Sylar WAS the bomb, we'll never know.] I don't know, time travel has always been a really confusing thing to grasp. :P I guess we'll find out what happens tonight, and next week. I hope so, anyway. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Shonos, your explanation is confusing, yet very real at the same time. XD
Like I said, time travel's a really confusing thing, but I get your point. It makes sense... so far. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I was sleeping, and all the sudden I woke up, sat straight up in bed, and said: 'Shit!'
It took me a while, but I had just made a connection: Bennet spoke of the "Walker Tracking System". That would be the girl, Molly. He recruited Mohinder to 'fix' her, and now she'll be able to tell Star Trek guy [Primatech paper guy, he reminds me of someone from ST, and I don't know his name] where ANY of them are. He'll not only use her to find Sylar, but probably Claire, Bennet, and the others too. Damn. And I'm sure Bennet doesn't know that the 'tracking system' is a little girl... What's he gonna do to 'take it out'? Shit's gonna hit the fan, and soon. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Someone in production for Heroes [I'm not sure if it was the director, producer, or whoever, but still] has said that they've grown to like Sylar so much that he's likely going to be a regular in season 2. Would be cool, but I'm not sure how they'll pull it off. Will Sylar become a 'good guy'?
