Wow, those Laws are rough. I was going to say... In FFTA, the Laws sucked. There were battles you'd fight, and end up having to break the law several times, landing a bunch of characters in jail. In FFTA2, though... Well, the punishment for breaking the Laws doesn't seem all that severe. You can't revive for the rest of the battle.
What I didn't know is that in A2 the Laws are fixed to each battle. I like that. The fact that you used to be able to just move around the map a couple spaces to skip a tough Law made the game a lot easier. I've only played past the first mission, but I'm really liking it so far. Question for those who are farther: Do you place cities on the map, and build your own Ivalice as in FFTA? If so... does it generate items the same way? I remember there being some items you could only get by placing cities in certain places. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I got my CycloDS in the mail today [whoo!] so I'm finally able to start playing this. I've finished the first quest and the bunch of tutorials that come along with it, and I think I'm finally 'free' to start picking up quests.
Any tips for someone just starting off? Anything I might miss that you can't pick up later? Stuff like that? There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Thanks for the tip.
![]() And Deni, I'm already in another playthrough of the original FFT [emulated] on my PSP. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
