So you have to live without video games for two weeks. I mean, COME ON, the only person in the world that would affect would be Elixir.

My Elite just died on me, and I called up customer support. Apparently they don't do repairs in Canada, only replacements. Can't complain there, I guess. I just have to pack it up and ship it out, which is apparently free too.

The guy on the line said my warranty just expired a few weeks ago, and was nice enough to set up the replacement anyway. Score.

While it sucks to not have the console for 2-3 weeks, [as I just picked up a couple new games,] I'm sure I'll live.

On another note, I can't seem to connect to XBL at all. It just stopped working last night, and I haven't been able to connect. For some reason, the console no longer seems to be able to get an IP from the adapter. Any suggestions?

Finally got a connection to work. Installed NXE, and it looks real nice so far.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I just made a basic 'looks-like-me' avatar to start off, [well, except for the ears,] though I'll probably change it up once some new stuff comes out. Jessy's rocks. <3

As for updating early, I have a friend who was part of the NXE preview, but his system actually died a few days ago, so I brought mine over to his place. When we stuck his HDD on my console, it installed. It just did the 'official update' or whatever it was [seemed like a 50mb or so download] when I finally was able to connect last night, and then it worked just fine.
