Cancelled VGM release?

I just browsing through GMROnline a few minutes ago, looking some information of Samurai Showdown OST, but I notice there is an album which is cancelled for uncertain reason.

Is there any similar case to other albums? Cancelled VGM release? I wonder why situation like this happening. I know games development sometimes are cancelled because the console's popularity dying, but I never thought it would affect the OST release as well. Interesting that someone actually spotted the catalogue number. Perhaps the case is bit similar to Earthbound Zero.
