Nightmare! My HDD suddenly formatted!!!
Guys, I'm really gonna suicide... Just an hour ago I left my notebook running on windows XP, and when I went home... the I:\ from my external hdd couldn't be read... when I check my computer, I read it's unformatted. Omg... please tell me this is not true... I have 25 gb of music files which haven't been backed up... and not to mention I lost all my installation program I put in I:\. But I found it really strange... the J:\ which contains anime is alright...
Please somebody, help me. I'm really desperate... I wonder if there is a way to save my files before I really format it... My HDD is 80 gb seagate barracuda, an internal hdd used as extrnal, connected to my computer using a NEC PCMCIA card to support usb 2.0 transfer. Jam it back in, in the dark.

whew, I see some small ray of hope here... I have used this utility, I was surprised that It actually found my unformatted partition! Now, what should I do after the scanning finished?
There's nowhere I can't reach.
