Cool Languages you want study

Hi, since there is lot of people in GFF, I want to know the languages you want study and what do you do to achieve that.

Let's start from me... currently I'm studying japanese in a Japanese Language Culture Centre (Shokyu 2)... currently I pend my exam date because I'm chickened out by the amount of vocabulary I must memorize. The next one is German, studied it two years ago, but currently I dont continue it, maybe in future I will take course to master it.

other languages I want to study are French, Hebrew, Turkish, and Chinese Mandarin. I wonder how to study hebrew language... it's just too damn hard, yet very2 interesting.

allright that's from me, what's yours?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Of course, that's what I come up with at this moment; I tend to desire to want to learn languages sporadically >_>
Btw I heard that studying Latin is really exhausting. What do you do to improve you grammar? reading the latin bible? I tried studying latin independently through wikipedia, but all I got is frustation x-x.

In my opinion, study german first before french, it will make things easier (well for me at least).

hmm I guess majority of people here would choose chinese mandarin, japanese, korean, german and french. oh yeah, does anyone have interest to study hungarian language? I heard that language is extermely complicated, it has around 35 grammar cases or more.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Oh sorry, I got mixed up spanish with esperante. in fact esperante is an artificial language (checked from babylon). I wonder if any of you study this language? actually this language was made in purpose to become international language, but since everyone nowadays could use english, it becomes obsolete.

I never have chance to go abroad... sigh... but I really want to go to Neuschwanstein (New Rock Swan if you translate it?), I want to see that beautiful Ludwig II castle! just so amazingly beautiful...

I was speaking idiomatically.

Chinese is THAT hard dude x_X;.

My friend got a perfect E for his mandarin class last semester though I have warned him to pick up japanese instead (so that he might would have gotten an A like me, heh). From what I've heard, Chinese has complicated rule of sound system, speak it with different tone and you get different meanings. OMG, just how Chinese ancestors created them??

Even though I'm chinese, I couldn speak any of it, but I will definitely going to learn it, hoping that someday I will return to China.

Btw talking with natives from different nationality like you really amazes me, not to mention that they keep saying their complicated language is goddamn easy while it maybe takes non-natives about 7 years to master them:borg:

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Wow... serbian seems rivaling Latin, hungarian, chinese, and hebrew in term of difficulty. I wonder how you native grow with it:juggler:

Hey Killy and Alogia, not everyone understand what are you talking about. Create another thread if you want to teach us that language.
