The style's a little too "in-your-face" for me. It's like they're trying to impress you with its cool slickness (omg they're doing flips!!11 and waving weapons around!!11). But I guess it's for younger audiences that'll eat that stuff up.
Also: totally bitter that the opening shot of the moon didn't turn into a blurred pan downwards to an exploding manhole cover like in the intro of the cartoon. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
