Why would you even be looking for a plot inside of this movie? You're an idiot for going into it expecting a plot.

Somehow it's become fashionable to use "plot" to mean "talky, convoluted expositions, explanations, and backstory," but plotting is about setting up a compelling sequence of events. And yes, even the cheesiest, meatheaded action movie needs a plot, or there's no pacing, no tension, no payoff, and most importantly
no continuity.
A truly plotless action movie would be like one of those stunt highlight compilations on youtube.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
