One positive point of the movie was the whole technologic side of it and the spiritual side of the sun. The sun represents God in some way and the humanity sets out in space to save God.
The only thing I didn't think was necessary was the whole other plot including the Icarus I. Although this was told to balance the fact that a human wants to play God. I still think it,s worth renting. Jam it back in, in the dark.
Not six....more like half a dozen...
