Wow, one evening of news has already exploded into 9 pages! The Wii's utilities and games are looking more impressive by the second.

Thank goodness if this is true. Nintendo does have a reputation for making very sturdy merchandise, but on the off-chance I travel with it and break it, I'd rather not be paying for another Wii and all of the classic games that came with it.

So I just watched these Mii videos. I don't know if this is old or whether it's been posted here before or whatever, but I'm guessing it has. My hand is fucking tired already and I haven't even touched a controller.

Yeah, the video is already on the front page of this thread except in Japanese language form. Anyway, I'm excited about the customizability of the Wii. I like the idea of creating a custom avatar to play in multiplayer games (at least I think that could be one possible use for avatars).

Seven trillion units is a bit much, isn't it? The amount of Wiis expected was more around the nine million estimate.

Anyway, Wiis will be in plentiful supply, but demand for the Wii may be too much for retailers to handle all at once. It seems unlikely that the aforementioned shortage will happen, but why take the chance when there isn't much risk to reserving a Wii?
