Allrighty, this is far too amusing to stay out of. Please add me to the reserve list. I guess I'll go with a Dragonborn Warlord, and since I suck at names I'll just call him Reptis Sandscale.

I figure the potential for furry jokes and to leave flaming vomit slicks when too inebriated makes the racial selection worth it.

I'm guessing it'll be a while before he makes it to the top of the list, so I'll worry about details later.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I'd put my money on Argumentus as well since he seems to be everyone's door-opening pawn of choice.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I've been looking at this: Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition ยป Players Pre-4th Edition Handbook

I have no idea if it's complete or accurate though.

You never said what was actually on it though, did you?
Basically, you were arrested and thrown in the dungeon for crossdressing.

(bottom of the first page)

Hmmm... was Deni supposed to be at the North Door or the South door at the time Brady smashed the South one open? I find it very amusing that the two slowest characters are also the two furthest away from the enemies right now.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

The difference being that now you have to run there on your stubby little legs, which might take a while.

Ah yes, the tables seem to be one space wide, not two. I was thinking you would fall just short next turn. Now I am imagining two dwarves running down the room one after another, and it is making me smile.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Thanks for the handbook and sheet, pang. I guess I will try to do this myself, then I can run it by you and find out how badly I screwed it up.

How ya doing, buddy?

I just realized there have been no descriptions of light sources since the first room. Is everyone fighting in darkness, Pang?

Ah, I see. So they don't have to worry about it for a while. Will be interesting to see what happens if they run out of sunrods without finding any illumination. Although I guess as long as Bob is around they'll have some light. I have no idea how much though because I have not read that skills description.

Hard to say for sure since I am not the DM, but I have a feeling Shin forgot that no one speaks goblin.

Anyways, how does one determine passive insight and passive perception? The page the character sheet chapter refers to just talks about how passive checks work. Are they both just 10 plus any applicable modifiers?

How ya doing, buddy?

Considering his current course of action, his name may not be of much of a concern in the near future.

Here's hoping for some murderizing.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

C'mon Zeph, open the hatch. You know you want to.

Edit:
He didn't pick a name at all.

He had to have one assigned to him.
And even then you gave him such an ordinary name? He could have been called "Shifty Sneakyboots" or something similar as preventative measure against laziness in future players.

Nevermind, I like yours better now anyway.

I think from now on I will have to google search everything Pang types, just in case I am missing some hidden meaning.

I think a DnD game where conflict is avoided at every opportunity would be rather dull.

ALSO: updated the class/race selection to include Warforged and Artificers
Does that mean the handbook you have available for download has been updated? I'll refrain from using your bandwidth unnecessarily if it hasn't.

"Why hello there Iron Man, how nice to see you in this fine fantasy setting."

Also, how long before someone decides they want to be a Warforged just so they can go for the juggernaut paragon path and yell "I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!" at every available opportunity?

Damn, I must have comic books on the brain today.

Hmm... I may change my race/class selection in the near future. Upon hearing of my newfound interest my roommate is taking me to a DnD session on Saturday, and apparently Reptis has already been drafted for that.

Details on new character to follow, not that I need to rush since I'm so far down the list.

Oh yeah, Artificer is just a preview, so playing one at this point would kind of suck. "Hmm... choose two at-will powers, wait... there's only one... crap!"

Jam it back in, in the dark.

as long nobody picks Human Artificer there's no worries.
Bah, I fail at two column scrolling. There are indeed two. But everyone is supposed to get two at-will powers. Humans get two feats.

I have blundered into a classes DnD mistake. Never question the DM.

Anyways, put me down for a Warforged Warlock. No name decided upon yet.

But there's always room for JELL-O!

...or maybe this one always has room for you.

Also, if that thing eats you, I just want you to remember that I called it.

Name for Warforged Warlord shall be "Lens", I guess.

Bonus to hit from whatever ability you are rolling's modifier still applies. As does any weapon proficiency attack bonus.

So if you are rolling an attack power with STR vs. AC for your chance to hit, you add your strength modifier to your die roll. If you are making the attack with a dagger and are proficient with it, you also add the +3 proficiency bonus for the weapon.

Odds are Pang is keeping track of this behind the scenes so you guys don't have to think about it.

Hmm... I think Pang's desire to murderize some adventurers may be continuously foiled by 4th Editions inherent difficulty achieving player character death.

Also, nice av/sig pang. Should have left in the "AH AH AH AH" though, because the only thing creepier than a Dracula robot is one that won't stop laughing.
