Instead they resemble the primeval body of life and are generally known as "Mushi". Their existence and appearance are unknown to many and only a limited number of humans are aware of them. Ginko is a "Mushi-shi" who travels around to investigate and find out more about the "Mushi". This anime is pure poetry. It's quite simple, either you fall asleep, either you love. A fantastic ode to nature, the most peaceful anime you can found anywhere. Wonderful music and flawless animation. I felt in love with this series since the first episode. Strongly advised to watch it after a rough day.

Not the fan of the emo type, bleached colors long fake hairs either. But I'm quite curious how Otomo can direct a live movie.
