Okay, to those who want to get started on MUGEN:
Either check the first page for torrents OR if you just want a lot of starting chars, download my character directories.
Here are the links (note: they are completely separate. One is not required for the other.)

Those are my chars directories. Just make sure to remove Gambit if he's in there (he is bugged)

I take it you didn't get his post. It has nothing to do with your version, you can fix the crashing, but we need more info.

A common problem is a bugged character.

I don't know exactly, but I reckon it has to do with your select.def. My guess is you put the folder name but the .def of the char is a different name.

Take a look at that, then if it doesn't work I'll try to help some more.

On the first page, there are two WORKING torrents. They come with all kinds of stuff, I would recommend those. I would torrent the one I am using, but I don't know how. Also I will look for some cvs2 chars in my roster.

As far as I know, my character links are still working. Unless you're really hard pressed for comp space, please download those or the torrents before requesting characters. But, like I said, if you need to save computer space...

WooshQ - I don't agree with warehouses, either. But, all things considered, this forum is starting to turn into one. I had no idea what a warehouse was but I do now and honestly, I think it sounds fine. It's like SOLDIER said, they aren't claiming they made the chars.
It's basically just like a more/less convienient (depends on if you're looking for one char or a bunch) version of char packs.

You make a good point. Warehouses are now any place with mugen chars apparently. I am getting pissed at this, warehouses are the best resources we have now. Of course, some googling on all of YOUR parts would help the ones giving characters a BUNCH, as I think jlong tries to point out.

I'm going to associate that with cheap since I remember Isabeau having the qcfx2+p super which did like 75% damage, plus the fact that Isabeau seems to have unlimited super on the third round.

Try Gill. If he pulls off Seraphic Wing, you're probably gone or in critical. Also has boss stamina and an unblockable elemental storm super (which you can't avoid if he's in the corner, since you have to walk forward to dodge it).

U. Mizuki's annoying, especially since I couldn't even F1 her (she had infinite life for some reason at Stage 6), so I lost and she crashed my MUGEN with that losing glitch.

Of course playing team mode and facing 2, order 6 boss class enemies is always a good challenge since your cpu partner probably will be of no help. (eg. G-Akiha, Delilah, Living Armor, Suika, etc.)

Errm, are these characters easy to find? If not, could you give links? I have been looking for someone difficult to take on to test my Robo Rock skills.

If that is a comment regarding EVE, I suggest you shut the hell up. I don't wanna sound mean or anything, but a screen pack is not a game. I am assuming you use default MUGEN, which is awful (it only has 12 character slots if I remember)
